Seymour Sign & Print have worked with TDL for a number of years, initially signwriting their fleet of blood courier bikes in Manchester, later signwriting motorcycles destined for the hustle and bustle of London, along with several courier vans. When the TDL upgraded their fleet across the UK, it fell to Seymour Sign & Print Ltd, with their proven track record of delivering high quality vehicle graphics, that can withstand the arduous task of ferrying samples around the country around the clock.
TDL chose the Hybrid Toyota Yaris cars, assisting in reducing emissions operating primarily reducing built up cities, the reduction in fuel and maintenance costs. A total of 23 vehicles were ordered, which Seymour Sign & Print signed up at the dealership before being delivered to the laboratries around the UK. The Seymour Sign & Print team had an input from the early stages, with brand guidelines and graphics being installed in their fleet around the globe. Seymour Sign & Print put forward a number of proposals, meeting design and brand requirements, alternatives that drew on their experience producing and installing vehicle signage, which offered TDL a considerable saving, by reducing the amount of material required, allowing for a quicker installation meaning TDL could get their vehicles on the road sooner.
Seymour Sign & Print opted for a clear gloss wrap film, that was digitally printed, before applying a gloss overlaminate, protecting the print from abrasion, and fading caused by the UV ray of the occasional sunshine the UK experiences. The Colours were printed to match the references provided the clients global head office. The clear vinyl preventing a harsh shift between the white of the OEM paintwork and any variation in colour between the white of a opaque vinyl. The overall effect is as intended, Seymour Sign & Print, produced and installed the graphics as the vehicles arrived at Toyota with causing minimal delays in the vehicles getting out into the fleet.
